Elton contacted our clinic earlier this year with a long-standing condition of dental problems and a severely impaired self-confidence due to his appearance. His teeth were weakened by decay, some had already been lost and the remaining ones showed signs of discolouration, wear and irregularity. Elton realised that a comprehensive restoration of his teeth was urgently needed to restore his smile and self-esteem. As an international patient, he was guided, advised and supported by our multilingual staff in our International Department in creating an ideal treatment plan and offer for him, addressing all his questions and concerns, and organising his dental trip to Istanbul. He decided to have treatment at our clinic and three months ago we met Elton at the airport in İstanbul and started his treatment.
The treatment process:
After a thorough examination, we decided with Elton to reconstruct his teeth using implants, crowns and veneers to improve both the aesthetics and functionality of his teeth. We chose the most non-invasive treatment methods possible, staying true to our clinic’s approach, which was to preserve his functional teeth as much as possible by cutting them as minimal as possible. Firstly, implants were placed in the missing areas to create a stable foundation for the crowns. Veneers were then placed on the visible surfaces of the teeth to correct, beautify and optimise them.
Elton was an extremely co-operative and motivated patient throughout the whole process. He followed our instructions closely, took good care of his teeth and showed patience and perseverance during the recovery period after the implant surgery.
